I found this vet one weekend when my cat was visibly sick on a Saturday morning, and my then vet told me the earliest they could see my cat would be Monday. I talked to a nurse at this vet's, and was able to get an appointment that same day. Dr. Chastain stayed well past closing time to figure out what was wrong with my cat, and then one of the vets came in the next day (Sunday) to check on him again to make sure he was ok. These vets really care about the well being of my cats, and go out of their way to take care of them. When you have an appointment, you have the opportunity to talk to the vet and have all your questions answered. They are not in a hurry to leave, if you still have questions. If you have tests done, the vet themselves calls you with the results, so that you can again ask any questions, and feel comfortable. All of the staff is friendly and helpful. I am so glad that I found them!

Mary Ann was having some behavioral issues due to back pain.  Now that she is having  cold laser therapy and joint supplement she no longer has back pain and consequently has no more behavioral issues.

We have had nothing but wonderful care and recommendations (as first time puppy parents, this is super important) from Chastain. We know if our little girl needs to go in for something Dr. Stephanie will take the best care of her, and discuss all options with us and what's the best plan of action in her opinion. From tooth care, to shots time, we trust her options. Additionally, when we get our gal groomed, we know she is in with a top tier groomer. Sara is phenomenal and always trims our doggy up perfectly. She knows season appropriate, that our dog is an indoor dog, and she is great at clipping hair and toenails. You can tell she is well trained, with tons of experience, and we're getting a huge bargain by having her at the vet. She should be charging hundreds of dollars for the work she does (but please don't). Our little bit comes home with a beautiful smell that lasts for days and what we call the "cutekerchief". Yet another person that we trust fully to take care of our pup.

Dr. Sue Chastain lovingly cared for our three Brittanys over the past several years. We recently rescued our fourth Brittany, Gabe the Babe, and he, too, is receiving great care. Gabe had heartworm, is now in treatment and doing great. We love Dr. Sue and her wonderful staff at the Preston Road location.
