People aren’t the only ones experiencing an obesity epidemic. More
than half of the pets in the U.S. are overweight as well. Just as it is
with humans, obesity is deadly for pets, so talk to your veterinarian
as soon as possible if you are concerned about your pet’s weight.
Its far better in the long run to keep your pet on the thin side of normal.
Obesity can cause pets to experience joint pain and can increase their
risk of a number of different medical conditions. If your pet is overweight,
ask your veterinarian to help you devise a safe diet plan.
