About Us
Chastain Veterinary Medical Group was formed in 2002 with Preston Road Animal Hospital (founded 1960) and Meadow Brook Animal Hospital (founded 1992) was added to the group in 2003. The Chastains, Dr. Clint and Sue, have stayed on top of the latest veterinary treatment for years, as they began offering diagnostic ultrasounds in 1997 and made surgical lasers their standard in 1998.
What sets Chastain Veterinary Medical Group apart is the care that your pets will receive. Through preventative care, consultations, treatment, and maintenance, we make sure your pet stays as healthy as possible. With our diagnostic testing, we aim to catch any problems early and we will consult with you on all of our findings to make the decisions that are best for you and your pet. In addition, we are always on top of the latest medical treatments for your pet to make sure they maintain health throughout their life.
It takes a caring and compassionate veterinarian to provide the best care for your pet. We believe that every pet is a member of your family and give them the same care and concern that we would if they were a human patient. I found them when doing a Google search for someone to do a Lions Cut on our cat. I was extremely pleased with the service & care they provided. They did a free exam before the cut to make sure sedation wasn't necessary. Our normally feisty girl was very calm & enjoyed the attention. She behaved for the cut but wouldn't have any part of the bath, so we skipped it. When I picked her up a few hours later, she was happy! This is the first time she's been like that. It's important our furry kids like their providers, so we'll be taking her back!
